Walking around Lever Park in Rivington this morning I watched the sun rising over a bank of fog. As it did,I noticed the way that mist flattened the sense of depth in the landscape. You can see the effect in the photo posted below:
An evening walk through the woods around Rivington turned up this bank of spring flowers. Plus a Siskin in our garden today which made several visits to our birdfeeder.
